Plantasjen launches a new garden concept that helps you find your garden style

Now that spring is on its way, the dreams of a beautiful garden come to life. Ahead of the spring season, Plantasjen is introducing a new garden concept that will make it easier for you to realize your own vision for the outdoor area.

The concept "A world of gardens" consists of six different garden styles ranging from sunny Mediterranean vibes to more minimalist, Scandinavian gardens. Each style consists of a composition of plants, outdoor furniture, and decor that is meant to make it easier to create a cohesive garden.

- We want to offer a world of inspiring gardens that can simplify the process of creating the garden of your dreams for everyone, whether you have a clear vision for your garden or are just starting to plan, says Julia Romberg-Stenersen, Category Director Dry Goods at Plantasjen.

A thorough mapping of customer preferences and trends in the surrounding environment forms the basis for the new concept of various garden styles. Plantasjen aims to help Norwegians make sustainable choices for their garden over time and find their garden style. - With "A world of gardens," we want to provide guidance that is not only inspiring and sustainable, but above all helps customers follow their plan over time to create their own oasis, continues Romberg-Stenersen.

"A world of gardens" is a response to the trend of seeing the garden and outdoor space as an extension of the home. Interior design trends can be easily adapted with relatively small means, such as buying a new cushion or painting the wall in a new trend color. Gardens, on the other hand, require more long-term planning and commitment over time. - If you spent three weeks of your summer vacation last year building a pergola, planting a new hedge in the garden, or taking care of a large citrus tree through the winter, you don't abandon that now and start over next spring. Instead, build on what you have, concludes Romberg-Stenersen. Get inspired and get to know "A world of gardens" in our stores and on plantasjen.no.

«A world of gardens» consists of six garden styles

These are the six garden styles:

Mediterranean

A sense of sunny coastal landscape with warm, muted colors and robust, sun-loving plants like lavender and olive trees. Key elements include terracotta pots and outdoor kitchens, perfect for relaxation and social gatherings.

Romance

fragrant flowers and a fairy-tale atmosphere with an abundance of blooming plants like hydrangeas and roses. Colorful flower beds and greenhouses are central elements in this lush garden.

Classic

Characterized by minimalism and clean lines. Traditional Scandinavian heritage with rattan and natural wood, and a color palette of white, blue, pink, and red. A well-organized environment with matching furniture and decor, offering easy maintenance.

Nordic

further simplification with a focus on functionality. Minimalist with a limited color palette, and materials such as wood and aluminum. A place for relaxation and play, where simplicity and low maintenance are the focus.

Japandi

a fusion between Japanese and Scandinavian design with natural colors and materials that create a relaxing environment. Japanese cherry trees, bamboo, and decorative elements like fountains contribute to this.

Down to earth

focus on environmentally friendly choices with edible plants and bee-friendly flowers. Encourages the use of local plants and organic pest control for a functional garden in harmony with nature.
