Three things you didn't know you could use your pressure washer for

Garden care

Did you think your pressure washer was only reserved for car washing, watering, and rinsing garden furniture? Then you're mistaken! If you invest in a good pressure washer, with the option of many accessories, it can actually be used for much more. And for practical things you would never have thought to use the pressure washer for.

Three things you didn't know you could use your pressure washer for

Have you, for example, been annoyed by rust in the garden year after year, without knowing what to do about the problem? Or have the gutters once again filled up after a several-month-long winter?

The problems can be solved in under half an hour, and all you actually need is your pressure washer - and these accessories!

1. Sandblast rust

Has rust started to appear here and there in the garden? Forget trying to wash it away by hand. Not only will you spend twice as long trying to scrub and rub, the result will never be the same as when you blast away the rust with a pressure washer and sandblasting equipment.

How to do it: Connect the sandblasting kit to the pressure washer gun, and put the suction tube down into the sand. The negative pressure from the washer will then carry the sand along in the washing process. How quickly it disappears will depend on how long the rust has been there.

2. Cleaning gutters

After a long winter (or maybe even several), a lot of dirt collects in the gutters that we don't even notice, but which can have consequences if it's not removed in time. But anyone who has tried to clean out wet leaf clumps with the garden hose knows that it both takes a long time, is super demanding, and the result is far from good. With the right pressure washer - such as Kärcher's K 5 Premium, which can be combined with the right equipment - you save yourself and the house a lot of work. All you need is a pressure washer that can be combined with a gutter cleaner!

How to do it: Connect the gutter cleaner and spray upwards in the downpipe until no more dirt comes out.

3. High house wall = Telescopic lance

And last but not least: If you have a high house wall that has turned gray during the winter, or roofs and gutters that have grown moss, you can use the Telescopic Lance with, for example, a short vario lance for the right angle to reach the height. You avoid climbing up a ladder and work with your feet firmly planted on the ground.

How to do it: Connect the telescopic lance to the pressure washer and adjust the angle based on where and what you are going to wash.
