Placement

The areca palm thrives in bright placement and should be protected from direct sunlight. It also does well a bit further into the room. In dark corners, a plant lamp will ensure that the plant gets the light it needs. Suitable for being placed in large pots on the floor. In the summer, the areca palm can be placed outdoors in a shady to semi-shady location. Great for decorating a terrace or outdoor space

Water

The areca palm should be watered with low lime water, rainwater or water that has been left for one day, when the soil has dried somewhat. Pour water so all the soil gets wet.

Nutrition

Add a weak dose of lime-free nutrition once a month in the spring and summer.
